Delilah Spins

Each class will have a theme. The class will do a movements together and then dancers will be called upon to do individual exersices. It’s fun and help everyone get over stage fright. Homework project will be you have to find music and weave a dance for week 6 . perform it for class as a rehearsal and then the next week infront of an audience.

Themes for each class
Class #1 Energy, eyes and hands; the implied line and dancer demeanor.
Class # 2 Body language, Floor design
Class #3 Air design, delayed line
Class #3 Message with in your dance.
Class # 4 Transitions and contrasts
Class #5 Drum Solo
Class #6 Perform your piece for class

Performance Night #7 invite an audience in!

Delilah
Delilah is an internationally acclaimed belly dance performer and instructor. She was the first dancer to receive the Dancer of the Year Award from the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance in Hollywood, California 1997. Delilah grew up in Southern California, learning the dance form as it was passed on and popularized in this country by first and second generation immigrants from Lebanon, Armenia, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Morocco and Greece.
