This will be the 11th season for this annual course.

It’s a Belly Dance Fusion course for intermediate and advanced dancers.

Comprises 5 classes and a performance event.
Limited to seven students.

Each class is an exploration into dance expression and sensory awareness.
And will culminate in a group dance as well as a solo. It’s really fun!

Classes are Thursday Nights 7:00pm – 8:30pm
March 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18
Performance April 25th or Fri 26th ( Class will decide). 7:30-9:00 PM

There will be a short intermission with hospitality.
Course fee is $120; each student gets to invite 2 guests to the performance.

If students would like to attend performance the fee is $15 with limited space.

Herstory

This show concept originated many years ago when Delilah’s Visionary Dancers were studying the power of the muse in their dance. Searching for inspiration that engaged the body, mind and senses they began exploring the world of scent. Our sense of sent is the most mysterious and least understood. So the first few shows were all about the dancers exploration with chosen scents. They research their use history symbolism and then experience the effects of the sent and let it lead them to music, costume and dance composition. Truly a wonderful thought provoking and experiential show to attend.

In recent years we have branched out to also include a sister sense of Taste! So this year you may be invited to imbibe or chew a bit of the dance as well!
