New Years Day Ritual Zarh

First we will warm up with a Power Belly Work out and follow this with a ritual zaar Visionary Dance Style.

A zaar is a ritual trance dance that is very repetitive and cathartic done to drums that get faster and faster. Our ritual format is simple. Each person gets to watch a zaar and participate in a zaar. As is our new years tradition we will combine our trance dance experience with inviting our psychic skills to come forth. There will be plenty of WA State Lottery cards for you to play.

Afterward ground your self by joining us at Delilah’s house for pot luck and hot tub.

Drummers are welcome to play for the zaar if they are in the know.

Delilah
Delilah is an internationally acclaimed belly dance performer and instructor. She was the first dancer to receive the Dancer of the Year Award from the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance in Hollywood, California 1997.
